According to LandOfTheLost.com: "Q: Did Bill Laimbeer from the Detroit Pistons ever play a Sleestak? A: He most certainly did." -- droxford
Ran across this last night as I was trying to get over yet enough sh!tty playoff loss. This probably warrants its own thread but I'll go ahead and post it here: 100 Scariest Movie Moments Ever: Some good stuff here...
Remember the first episode of Star Trek ("The Cage") where Pike is held by the telekinesis freaks. That was kinda spooky. Also there was a Planet of the Apes movie that had some more mind controlling freaks. I guess I never cared for people that attack the brain.
Oh yeah, that was the 2nd one, "Beneath the Planet of the Apes" where those underground people tore off their faces and worshiped the atomic bomb.
When I was younger I used to watch this show "Sightings." That show would always talk about Ghosts and Alien Abductions and stuff. It would always come on at like midnight and it used to scare the **** out of me. I was never scared of movie monsters but these little bastards would keep me up at night under my covers:
Killer Bees and Vampire Bats. I remember when I was about 5 or 6 the killer bees were all in the news. They were coming up from South America!!!! They were going to invade Texas!!!! I asked my mom if we could move somewhere farther north where it was cold and they wouldn't come. We also really did have bats in our neighborhood in Houston and sometimes when I would be walking home from at dusk it would suddenly occur to me that they might be vampire bats. Then my little feet would start flying.
Damn, my bad, I should have read it better. My fear was a dream I had when I was a kid and in the dream I died and came back as a red head like Danny from the Partridge Family (sp?), creeped the crap out of me. Also, that dummy from MAGIC scared me, "Magic is fun.......when you're dead."
Did you all know that they are making a movie "Land of the Lost" due out in 2007? 'm not surprised with all the damn remakes of old shows and movies coming out.
Oh my God...I think I'm gonna puke... They're making it in to comedy starring Will Ferrel. NOOOOOOOOOO!!!! -- droxford
