Roy Rogers has nothing on The Gambler, Kenny Rogers. He can sell chicken anywhere. Honestly, there are no chic fil a in minority neighborhoods in houston at least, something i've never noticed till this thread. not saying its on purpose, but its noticable when you think about it
Chick Fil A wins the award for the America's Healthiest Chain Restaurant. http://health.yahoo.com/experts/eatthis/11230/americas-bestand-worstrestaurants/ I wish there was one around here near my job. That's only fast food I would eat.
I've noticed there are no Fiestas in predominantly white neighborhoods -- at least in the Dallas area. Pisses me off. Where am I supposed to get pork rinds the size of a small Toyota?
http://www.chick-fil-a.com/restlocator/ Surely there is one near enough. What's an intersection near where you work?
I love Chick-Fil-A. They have the best chicken nuggets and fries. I really miss my college days when there was a Chick-Fil-A at the student union and I would eat there about once a week.
Nope. Dead serious. I used to love Asian markets and going to Fiesta for the "different" foods. I can't find a Fiesta market anywhere near "suburbia". I don't recall there being any when I lived in Houston, either. Although there's one in Missouri City, but I'm not there anymore, so it's of no use to me.
Texas Tech? We had one in the UC in college, also. I'd always add tabasco to mine, which made it the best spicy chicken sandwich ever. (sorry, Wendy's) This thread has inspired me to get some for lunch. Now, if only I knew where I could get a packet of tabasco?
Clay Road and Beltway 8... The nearest one is at Memorial City Mall. I hardly go there during lunch because it's so dam jam packed. Too much construction.
Westheimer & Kirkwood location is only a couple more miles. I'm going to The Woodlands for mine. I might even go into the one in the mall, as I might be able to find a tabasco packet.
fast food chicken is just nasty (especially mcdonalds - I can't believe people eat that ****) but damn chick-fil-a makes a tasty sandwich. I almost never eat fast food - but when I do it's chick-fil-a.
Well that's my point. The owning family members are the ones who came up with the corporate policy, just like they are the ones who decided CFA will be closed on Sundays.
There was one in the Clear Lake area (Nasa Road 1 & 45)...but it shut down quite some time ago (early-mid 90's).
That Fiesta was doomed from the beginning. Way too big with too many bells and whistles. I worked at the Pottery Mart next door for awhile. I used to waste my lunch breaks playing Pit Fighter there.
