Because he is the embodiment of all that is evil and horrible in this world. But who am I kidding? He's still an marked upgrade over Terrence Jones on offense, and brings us the shooting PF we SORELY need. Ugh. I've been nauseous ever since Bosh chose Miami, and I don't think it's gonna get any better. Where's the Pepto??
The problem with some of these signings, and potential signings, is that some of us remember either their prior history with the Rockets, or their prior history playing against the Rockets. It's difficult not to ignore that stuff. Difficult for me, at any rate.
I hate Boozer for Boozering Lebron and the Cavs and I hate him for being a Jazz and I hate him for playing well against the Rockets as a Jazz. I hate him for his ugly mug and his elite sweat production skills.
i think only teams with cap space can bid on him (and we're still operating above the cap). So he'd have to clear waivers for Houston to have a chance at signing him. I personally wouldn't care for Boozer, and his yelling after every play, stupid behind the head shot, and disappearing act, but...any player is worth signing at the right price.
The only consolation is that he wasn't my most hated Jazz. That honor would go to "the Boy with the Dragon Tattoo" I hated his guts so damn much disclaimer: I wasn't around for Stockton and Malone
Exactly. There have been nights, admittedly not many, where I woke up in a sweat from a nightmare of being seated next to Boozer on Southwest Airlines.
What's weird is I never hated Deron Williams on the Jazz, but I freaking HATED Okur and Boozer. Hated hated hated hated. They were right there in the Stockton camp for me.
Let's stop talking about the Boozer/Okur Jazz. Anyone who loved Yao is still going through therapy because of those guys.
