Better at making it look like you don't even have a superficial understanding of the relevant facts and circumstances - let alone an in-depth one.
This was a true statement before the first Gulf War. Did you stop reading the newspaper about then or what ?
EDIT: I'm not bothering with you. If someone would like to talk about this with sound arguments, please do. Sammy, I learned a long time ago that you are more about antagonizing than debating.
And I'm not bothering to debate foreign policy with somebody who thinks Iran is a U.S. ally. I suggest you contact the US Ambassador to Iran to clarify this point - he's right next door to the US Ambassador to Cuba, they're both looking at photographs of the Loch Ness Monster right now....
so. . . you don't mind being lied to . . . if it is for 'THE GREATER GOOD EVEN if it is not what YOU think is the GREATER GOOD? Rocket River
I find that problematic I don't like the idea of my Government misleading me NO MATTER WHAT THE GOAL Rocket River
The author of this article was just on a national current events radio show in Canada. He’s a local issues writer from Chicago who doesn’t typically cover national issues. This may explain why his analysis is so naïve. He’s essentially extrapolating from the reports of a high voter turnout to the supposition that this will result in a stable democracy in Iraq, and he’s overlooking all the very serious things Bush was very wrong about, or dishonest about, leading up to this point. Essentially his focus is very narrow and naïve, but then national and international politics aren’t his beat.
