Since when is T-Mac the best player on the team? Even the TNT guys think that if the choice comes down to T-Mac or Yao that T-Mac will be the one who goes.

The real issue with T-Mac, assuming they want to upgrade, is his salary. Moving a PG or SF isn't going to change that.

The thing with getting 4-5 good players for the 1 great guy...shouldnt these really good players be kicking butt in the EAST?! Bringing Gordon and Deng and whoever else over, now they're gonna excel in the West?

I wouldnt do this trade now. But if the Rockets fail to advance again, or even make the playoffs, stay tuned

Rather have Noah instead of Thomas. Noah can play both 4 & 5, which is going to be important when Dike retires.

    PG: Hinrich/Jackson/Brooks
    SG: Gordon/Deng/Green
    SF: Battier/Deng/Harris
    PG: Scola/Landry/Hayes
    C: Yao/Noah

I assume Luther and/or Alston will be the filler.

Has T-Mac had any back issues at all this year? I don't remember any.

I wouldn't touch J.O'Neal with a 10-foot pole, though. He's more brittle than T-Mac and substantially less talented.

Noah's jump shot makes Chuck's jumper look like Michael Jordan's.

If Noah becomes a Rocket I may have to turn in my fan card.

Because this would be tmac and Yaos 3rd or 4th year together and they still havent gotten past the first round. Yao is a cash cow and good centers are hard to find in the NBA. Also he is younger then tmac. That's why the best player will get traded if the experiment fails this year. Someone gotta play the scapegoat.

Um yeah, the writer is on crack. Gordon can't be packaged, Paxson wants to adopt Hinrich. The Rockets aren't trading McGrady for Larry Hughes and Nocioni.

there have been no back problems since visiting Patterson last year.

The problems early this year were knee problems.

From the look of it, those have finally healed...he has been moving much better over the last few games.
