FML, I'd rather give up Martin than Lee. We are trading our perimeter defenders away. Cool. Who needs defense?

Trading Battier, CLee, AB and who knows what else IMHO is blowing things up but your right not in the traditional sense of the word.

I wonder what specifically the coaching staff didn't see pan out in Lee or if this is more about rolling the dice with Williams as far as playing time.

From what I've seen, Courtney Lee is a really good fit... 5 years ago. Same with Shane. I just hope we send them somewhere good.

Lee for 2 future 1st round picks, use one pick+expiring to acquire Wallace, use Battier to acquire Thabeet + 1st rounder..

    I'd be ok with that.

If we go after Flynn.. i would hope to get another 1st rounder out of it.

So in the end, if we come out with 3 first rounders, Wallace, Thabeet, and Flynn.. i think i'd be ok with that.

Hell, you could just return Charlotte's pick to them with Jared Jeffries. Having sent Lee to Chicago, who can absorb him without having to give back salary, well, that SHOULD match Wallace's salary.

Although let me say that I have the same feelings now that I did when we lost Landry. "The greater good" and all that. But there are certain players you haete to lose.

Lee fits the bill. He's young, is a good defender, can shoot. Why would you give him up? He's young enough to be in the Rockets youth movement.

Do NOT make a trade just to make a trade!

Ok Im starting to get p*ssed now. WTH would we trade Lee for Asik straight up? Hell I would still start Hayes at 5. Problem still remains in the middle. Plus Lee is better than T-Will. Half of the people on this board would love to see us trade every one of our wing players just so they can see T-Will dunk in the process of us losing 50 games next year all in the name of rebuilding.

Just get draft picks right now shuffling role players is meaningless-

Forget about all this we must rebuild this team beginning with a Young Superstar and that may take a couple of years- yes reality is we're starting over.

We need as many high draft picks as possible.

All these trades don't do anything for us.

First you must have your superstar franchise player then you can look at all the pieces you place around his skills.

Until we have another 'Huge Splash' all of this is just motion.

Look, to win a championship will take us getting a player like Hakeem was, or Duncan, or Kobe, or DWade,

Let's get draft picks and start the process of hitting it big in the draft.

    Melo wasn't the answer.

There is not a franchise player available to us, so we have to get draft picks.

If Morey does hit big on one of these project players he is going for then it will be a miracle because we need someone who can come in with the impact of Durant.

I would like to see us go for Chris Paul. Send Yao, Lee, Brooks, Hill, Miller, and picks for Chris Paul and Okafor. Makes us a legit contender for D Howard either next year if he is unhap...py and wants a trade or when he becomes a free agent. He would look at NJ, NY, LA, and Houston if we had Paul. Power has shifted to the East so the West may be more intriguing for him. LA and HOU. LA will be worse by then, aging, and we will still have young talent with good backups and it could possibly be enough to lure him. If he wants out next year we can use Okafor and others as leverage for Orlando, which may entice them to make the trade, if he signs extension or not. If we have Paul I think he would stay after 1 season together and a deep push in the playoffs. Just my opinion. Let the bashing begin!

    Here's what you do.....

Trade Lee and Miller to Chi for Asik and a 1st.

Trade Battier and Hill to Grizzilies for Thabeet and Mayo.

Trade Martin, Yao, and 1st to Pacers for Granger and Dorsey.

Trade AB to Wolves for Flynn.

    Lowry/Flynn
    Mayo/Budinger
    Granger/TWill
    Scola/Dorsey/Patterson
    Asik/Thabeet
