This is correct. Morey will not blink as we are in no desperate need of a trade. Well, we are, but not that will put us over the top, we're in rebuild mode. Chicago is in championship mode. Simple: They need Lee more than we need Asik. If Chi wants to keep Noah, Boozer, Gibson, Asik and then keep sending Bogans out there, sure, be our guest. We shall watch you get ripped up by the likes of Wades, Johnsons, Allens in the playoffs. Then you can pull up a seat next to us as we watch the the rest of the playoffs on TNT...

Chicago needs Lee more than we need Asik. We need to leverage the **** out of this deal. Morey needs to demand cash, draft picks, or other perks if they want a Lee for Asik swap.

The biggest thing about him coming into the draft was that he was a great shot blocker.

I feel that we probably won't get anything here, especially the longer this goes on. Chicago might realize that Lee isn't worth the package that the Rox want. Didn't he get owned by Kobe in the 2009 finals?

Would you part with Miller & Lee for Asik & Bogans (in case chicago would agree) ?

Man do people here not do any research on players. The guy has been a shot blocker ever since he was playing in Europe. It's not just a one time thing. He has like a euroleague rookie record of I believe 19 Blocks or something in a specific span.

Actually, he was hailed as played good defense on Kobe.

Heck, even if he didn't, he was a rookie and it was Kobe so he wouldn't have been blamed much.

Really can't understand why the rockets would trade someone as talented as lee for a back up center. Don't like the trade at all. I actually wouldn't be surprised if a completely different trade happens. I may be mistaken, but I don't recall any news of the Kmart trade last year being released before it went down. Morey might surprise everyone.

Because centers are hard to find and guards like Lee aren't.
