They're still about 1 more year and a shooting guard away from being an ECF team. I don't think they can get past BOS or MIA in a 7 game series. As someone said already they need a competent shooting guard, Brewer and Bogans won't cut it. And Rose does have a clutch gene but he needs to develop it more...we saw the last 2-3 minutes of tonight's game he turned the ball over 3 times and took one poor shot after another when he got isolated. When this team plays under pressure for 1 more year gaining experience they'll figure out how to free up Rose to take better shots or execute better for others to score clutch baskets. If it weren't for that dumb Mike Miller foul on Deng, they would've lost tonight because they choked a 5 point lead away in the last minute.

Bulls were a bad defensive team when Noah was out. Thibs has proven he won't mess up a good thing. Take away his MVP candidate, does his team still win?

If some sort of MLE is avilable in the new CBA or raise the SC level, look out. All they need is a legit SG, CLee would have made this team even better then they already are.

Saying that, unless you see Asik play on a normal basis, you don't understand what a defensive force he already is. I can understand why they didn't budge on Asik for CLee even if it cost them this season.

as well some fans may only be able to see certain teams on national tv games. I live on the east coast so it is very hard to watch west coast games for a couple reasons, for starters they're on so dang late and I rarely even get any west coast games....

Just think of what this team would have been if Wade had signed on instead of agreeing to the circle jerk going down in South Beach

    Rose
    Wade
    Deng
    Boozer
    Noah

Eh, same issue as miami, there is somebody else on the court that needs the ball and is more effective with it.

Take the ball out of Roses hands and put it in wades and your team isnt as good.

To me CLee in that lineup would made Chicago pretty much the beast in the east.

While I don't want to deride this thread anymore with issues not pertaining to how well the Bulls are playing, I think Wade and Rose could have coexisted a lot better than what's going on right now with the LeBron and Wade.

Bogans gives the Bulls next to nothing and, yes I agree Lee would have been a great complement to Rose, I think you put Wade in there and that would have been the next dynasty hands down. They have a great PG, a well-rounded SF, a scoring/rebounding PF, and a very very good C. Putting Wade on that team would make that team as complete as you can get.

    Corrected.

If Wade had gone to the Bulls, Bosh would have also and Boozer would have signed with the Nets. There are no weakness in that lineup and they would be much better than the current Heat.

Agree that Wade + Rose would combine easier than Wade + LeBron. Wade & LeBron may eventually mesh well but what a challenge, especially for a young coach like Spoelstra.
