I will be shocked if LeBron goes to Chicago. That is the building that Michael Jordan built and no matter what he does people will continue to bring up Jordan even more if he goes to Chicago. I think he will stay in Cleveland so he can have the chance to build up that franchise like Jordan did Chicago.
Also, the article brings up a good point that I forgot. Phil jackson could be available since his contract is almost over and he seems to be having a mild dispute with Jerry Buss and daughter which was reported this year. Not sure how true it is but if it is.... i dont see why chicago wont go after him.
It would be awesome if PJ left the Lakers to go back to the Bulls. That would make my NBA summer. But I don't believe for one minute it would happen.
If the Bulls sign Lebron, have a coaching opening, and offer Phil Jackson a big contract with his pick of GM, PJ has to seriously think about going back to Chi town. Of course this is very far fetched, especially the part about the Bulls offering him a big contract, we saw how they botched the D'antoni situation.
Jordan sounded like he wanted to make a comeback during his HOF speech. Can't really think of a better fit roster-wise, now you add Phil and its a no-brainer right?
So, If Lebron started winning championships with Phil Is it Phil or is it Lebron? ala Jordan and Kobe
I don't think Jackson would take Reinsdorf over Buss. He already has a championship caliber team in L.A. and Kupchak has stated they will do anything to keep Phil around.
Buss gave the Lakers to his son, not Phil's girlfriend, who has been working for the organization and obviously has ties to the coach and players. I hear that Phil's girlfriend and Phil weren't very happy with how that went down.
I think phil hates jerry. but other than that imagine: Lebbron = mj rose = pipen Noah = rodman/horace grant All they need is a steve kerr/ Paxon and kukoc and they are set
I've always felt that if Lebron leaves Cleveland his most likely destination would be Chicago. With Rose and Noah the Bulls have a solid foundation for years to come. Add Lebron to the mix and they are going to be a contender for a decade or so. Scary thought. Lebron to Chicago also would destory the Knicks' pipe dream of landing a top FA this summer and that is good news for the Rockets.
JVG says as the soon-to-be new Chicago headcoach, he will need more than LBJ and Rose to win a championship. http://sports.espn.go.com/chicago/nba/news/story?id=5193092 So far, the contenders for LBJ are the Cavaliers, Knicks, Bulls and Clippers.
Just a Lebron to Chicago updated....perhaps unrelated but who knows, passing it along for chop up. WGN reported that Lebron was seen shopping today in Highland Park (north Chicago suburb, Jordan had his home here with wifey #1 and the kids....not sure if he still lives there or it went to the wifey in the divorce). Yes, we do report this as "news" in Chicago. That's how Lebron crazy we've gotten.
noah would fold like a deck of cards and ride LBJ's coattails to multiple championships. noah is a ****y.
