The only way we do a deal with Chicago is if they include Tyrus Thomas somehow.....

I dont buy it. Its too sudden.

Plus the Bulls coaching situation is up in the air. They'd basically be telling the new coach here's a busted up ol has been McGrady, make it work

    I hope not.

Nothing there is worth breaking up Carluis Scolandry.

Unless the Rockets organization has decided that they will let Scola walk after the season.

No way Scola or Landry is getting package unless an All Star talent is coming to Houston. Just my opinion.

    Couldnt agree more with you!

There's no way Morey's dumb enough to get rid of Scola or Landry just to trade MAC. I think the only other pieces Morey will look to move is Cook and Dorsey... other than that, i dont see brooks or scolandry going anywhere..

    I would consider....

    Rockets get:
    Miller
    Salmons
    Gray
    Thomas

    Bulls get:
    McGrady
Dorsey(re-united with Rose, Univ. Memphis Teammates)

rockets cut Harris, and buy-out Cook.....

There's no way in hell we give up Landry or Scola if we're trading with the Bulls. The only player I'd want that they'd be willing to give is Tyrus and I'm not giving either of our power forwards for him. Salmons has been terrible he's become just another ball-stopping chucker this season, I really don't want him.

I agree. If they really insist on getting either of those guys the deal is pretty much dead (if it ever existed outside of rumorland).

Scola or Landry don't get packaged with Me-Mac unless that brings in someone like Bosh or CP3.

Put whatever throw-in contracts are needed to make this work with Chicago but the deal basically would come down to Tyrus Thomas for unloading Me-Mac.

    I'd be fine with that.

If a trade doesn't benefit the Rox, hold on the TM and let his contract expire.

I hope Salmons will strengthen our bench if this trade is true. Playing with Shane and Ariza and Chase, his PT will be limited.

i think morey would pull the trigger is salmons was locked up at 6-7 mimll for 2-3 yrs...he's had his troubles this year, but he may fit under moreys udnervalued list, but since he can opt out, i dont think morey wants to end up with only expirings and no talent to keep because he doesnt know who'll bite during free agency. I think they'll try to include a third team to get that young talent he wants.

I hope that tarde is bs. Then again, I really can't think of any Morey move that I didn't think we got hosed on (and was eventually proven wrong)....

Why not? He would have 3 contracts that he could flip before the trade deadline THIS year instead of one big one.
