Salmons is having a bad year but I'd take him alone over McGrady given McGrady's health issues, salary implications not considered. Throw in a decent young big in Gray and a vet like Miller who knows Adelman and I say it's a no-brainer. I hope it's true even with Salmons' disappointing start to the season. I could see him turning things around quickly in the right environment.
i was quite excited to get some trade news, and then I see this thread. quite underwhelmed. this would be settling at this juncture.
how are the rockets trading one player and getting three back? the rockets can't take back three players.
Not a terrible deal, Gray is expiring as is Miller....and Salmons only has one year left and is a career 44% shooter. And it would break Tmac's contract into 3 tradeable pieces with 6 weeks left in the trade deadline. DD
What part of being 30 years old is up & coming? To top it off the mofo is shooting 38% from the field. Brad Miller is slower than molasses. Every move he makes literally looks like it's in slow motion. WTF is Gray?
FYI: Aaron Gray has to consent to any trade, since he's a "1-Year Bird" player. I wonder if he's even heard about this deal yet?
Those 3 suck. Either put in Deng or Thomas and you have a possible deal. I'd rather make tracy's b****y ace sit on the bench for the rest of the season than see brad 'the tool' miller in a rockets jersey.
Salmons could also opt out at the end of the year and it sounds like he might because he thinks he will get more than $5.8 million on the open market.
