http://news.yahoo.com/cheney-romney-only-man-foreign-policy-012836628.html I think some Romney supporters are in denial (like Kojirou) in thinking he is somehow moderate on foreign policy. This endorsement by Cheney of Romney's foreign policy (& vice-versa) and Romney's foreign policy team containing a bunch of Bush regime Neo-cons shows Romney's hawkish foreign policy. IMO, if he becomes president it won't be a matter of if he attacks Iran but when...
The Republicans should have no complaints about Obama's foreign policy.. he has basically just been a more effective Republican......
Dick getting behind his man to influence his stock holdings. Let's go bomb out another country so Halliburton & KBR can get the contracts to rebuild. Cha Ching!!
They don't. They have a problem with the fact that their friends aren't the ones <s>benefitting from</s> enforcing it
I was anxiously awaiting Cheney's opinion on this subject matter. Now I feel much more educated and informed. Thanks Dick!
There's nothing I'd like to see more than a vocal, visible Dick Cheney on Romney's side....oh and def. Condi for VP. This will be nectar for independents.
I dont have a problem with Cheney endorsing him. I do have a problem with Romney accepting that endorsement. He should have run away from the kiss of death.
Romney has more bank accounts outside the United States than Obama, thus better foreign policy experience.
Isn’t this kind of like the opposite of what an endorsement aught to be? LOL!!!! Media Barred From Photographing Romney With Cheney At Fundraiser The Los Angeles Times explains: Because of the unpopularity of Bush and Cheney, Romney has kept his distance — never appearing publicly with either man during his 2012 campaign. Though both leaders are admired by many in the Republican Party base, any perception of closeness with Romney could be harmful as the unofficial Republican nominee seeks to draw in independent and moderate voters.
The easiest rebuttal here is that Cheney never had administrative authority as a Vice President; the military and diplomatic chain of command bypassed him and would have gone directly to Bush.
You seem to be saying he didn't abuse the administrative authority that he never had. Am I understanding correctly?
I never said prosecutable. He probably has not committed any prosecutable crimes, and I had already factored that into my opinion. Just like Saddam did not committ any prosecutable crimes under Iraqi law at the time > a meaningless and worthless truth.
