They still have a chance to get Iggy.

Screw the draft and the so-called big free agent bonanza this off-season. The time to act is now. Who knows what Yao will be like when he returns. I know what hes been like in the past, hurt. Judging from what has happened in the past with Yao and Tracy, Morey should really try to get something done now. Like someone mentioned earlier, all this team needs right now is one, only one star player to make this team even more dangerous. With Iggy and Dally we could beat L.A and Dallas. Remember we are 2-2 with Dallas without any stars. They have even beat L.A. once this season already. Not to mention adding those 2 would make our bench great again. Also with the way that Lowry has been playing, i would not mind giving Brooks in with T-mac for the trade. Even Chase, as good as he will be, along with Mac, would probably convince Phillie to deal. All i am saying is, why sit back and wait. It is possible that we will be going through the same thing come off-season when most of the stars either stay with their current team or sign elsewhere. The time is now D.M.. Cuban threw the first stone, lets toss a boulder back. :(

I know what you mean, but I have to respectfully disagree that Iggy and Dalembert would \put this team over the top. In a 7 game series, the best team always wins, and it usually is the team with the most impactful superstar during that series. With the current composition of this team, even adding Iguodala and Dalembert or Butler and Haywood would not have been enough to beat the Lakers or the Cavs. The key is Yao because he is the only guy on this roster to command double and triple teams. Yao also gives this team an identity. Right now, I feel like this Rockets team doesn't have an identity. From watching the games, the Rockets do very well when they can score in transition. They struggle in the half court offense when defenses set in and key in on getting the ball out of Aaron's hands. With Yao, they know if nothing is there in transition, they dump the ball into the low post and play off Yao. But, like you said, unfortunately Yao is so undependable due to his long injury history, so we're kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place.
