Yeah, I'd rather to Spurs to beat the Jazz so they can face Lakers in the first round. Jazz and Mavs have the same numbers of wins.
Yeah, we take the third spot only to match up against them. Great. How 'bout the Jazz lose, drop to 7th, stay there, we control our own fate and pass SA for the third seed and match up against the wildly inconsistent Hornets in the first round? Sound better? Guys, get rational here.
we still hate them, but it benefits us for them to win, so why would i want them to lose? how stupid would i feel if i was like yah f the jazz go lakers, the lakers won, and then we don't get the third seed and have to face the lakers in the second round...i would be like ****, wish i the jazz would have beat the f'ing lakers so we could make it to the wcf...don't go completely off emotion, gotta think...
This would be my hope. They go ahead and lose out the rest of the way and keep falling back to the 7th or 8th spot, and I don't have to think about cheering for them.
it is rational, that's the thing, it is irrational to want them to lose because you hate them. in fact, this is one of the more rational things ever said on this board, which is constantly filled with conspiracy theories involving tracy mcgrady's "fake" injuries and inability to play team ball, does THAT sound rational? I FOR ONE WILL B E ROOTING FOR THE JAZZ. AND IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, I DON'T CARE GO JAZZ (only for this game)
The only thing I ever cheer for in Utah is snow and frigid temperatures. I want those people to be miserable.
i am going to root for the spurs nothing would make me happier to see the jazz in the 8th spot. if we win out our remaining games we will have the tie breaker with the spurs so there is no need for us to root against the spurs unless we lose a game
We need clear minds, people!! It does not matter we finish 3rd or 4th. What matters is the hated Jazz must be locked in the 8th.
the most perfect revenge would be the Jazz root against our team in the second round, because they would have no team to root for. I would like to scure the second round rather than taking a gamble.
