I honestly think that if we have to play the Jazz and then beat them, we will be riding on such a high that it may take us to the Conference Finals.
No, I'll take my chances that the Hornets will wake up and beat the Spurs at least once, but hopefully twice. We want the Jazz in that 8 spot. And a Spurs win over Utah increases the odds of them getting there.
And to the OP, WHAT THE FLIP ARE YOU DRINKING? What does the Jazz beating the Mavs have to do with us catching SA? I'd rather them lose to Mavs (which they did, hehe) and them inch closer to facing LA in the first round.
can someone explain to me how rooting for the jazz is a good idea? most of us agree that playing the jazz in the first round is a worst case scenario, correct? assuming that to be the case, we want to MINIMIZE chances of playing the jazz - that is we want jazz as 7 or 8 because we are LEAST likely to get a the 1 or 2 seeds (1 is impossible). the way to insure us not playing the jazz is for the jazz to keep losing. if that is the case, it does not matter what we do, we will not play them. in a perfect world we would get the 3 seed and not play them, but it is not at all out of the question that the jazz get the 6 seed ESPECIALLY since NO had to go and bleeping LOSE today. so, in conclusion, go spurs against jazz!!
You guys who are taking the 'macho' route and claming you want to go balls to the wall with utah are like artest going at 5 defenders by himself like a chicken without a head. It's cool to be all tough and say you want to face the toughest - but practicality wins out. maybe you guys think its better to face your toughest matchup and lose then play the battle of matchups and win against someone else. call me crazy, but i prefer winning.
There is nothing I hate more than the jazz. Okur especially. Durr, which way did he go, george? which way did he go?
We would have got pass the Jazz last season in the playoffs (and into the second round) if Rafer isn't injured. We need to avoid any injury and give the players a good rest whenever possible so that they are fresh for the playoffs challenge. As long as we have the home court advantage, I don't think the Jazz can beat us in the playoffs (the Jazz are formidable at home only). If we can play the entire playoffs (any round) without any injury we will be in the final of the western conference.
Cheer for the JAZZ!!!! OH NOO NEVER !!! I would rather see them lose all there game and end up playing the Lakers. That would be great.
