I dont care about grades...Ive said that plenty in this thread. But what I do care about is being on the same playing field as my classmates and making sure I can get my degree in the end. The course load and the structure of the system makes it almost impossible to avoid...when you are already at school 14-16 hours a day, there is only so much additional work you can do.
Sorry, but this is bull*****. I worked a full time job (50+ hours a week) and then went to law school at night (in class for 4 hours a night, 4 nights a week) and then had to read non-stop on the weekends. I didn't graduate top in my class, but I never failed anything either, and never once thought about cheating. You nut up, and you do the work, or you drop out, but you do not cheat.
Sorry, but law school is completely different than dental school...you didnt have 12 classes and 40 exams every semester, along with weekly quizzes, homework assignments, projects, and presentations...while being in the classroom and in lab 45 hours a week. I literally spent 100-110 hours a week doing school work. When you say I should nut up and do the work...you should send the same message to every dental student in the country because they are just as guilty.
you should probably stop posting until this thing with your dental school blows over, never know what can happen.
I bet if you actually did the assignments, quizzes, and projects rather than cheat or copy work you would be able to understand some of the concepts. That is a start. If you do that and study then you should be set.
No one "tattled" on him. Like I said earlier in this thread, if you cheat the professor will know. I know it is bothersome when they let some get away with it, but they will run into bigger problems.
So every dentist has cheated in dental school? Guess your administration is calling you for a donation. Perhaps to come back and speak to the class.
lol thats a good one, I saw lots of cheating going at the college I went to and the professor was pretty clueless or simply did not care.
Lol, how far did you make it? Exactly. ..................................................here come the lies
I don't see any point in trying to explain myself to you, considering you already reached a conclusion about me from the two lines of text I posted.
Awesome. I don't read this thread's first few pages, but I come into this thread and find this gem. Nice one, sir. Hard Work Pays Off. The Truth certainly is out there.
Damn, I don't necessarily agree or disagree with anything rezdawg was saying, but if someone actually took the time and went through the trouble of notifying his dental school, that's some messed up stuff. I guess if anything, it just changes the way I view this BBS......I figured for all our differences, when push came to shove, we all had each other's backs. I guess I was wrong in that assumption though.....
I don't understand how so many people feel proud of cheating. One thing to do it but to go on clutchfans and tell the whole world that's how you roll is pretty sad. Becareful though because something like that happen to me. Well ah when the plane landed and i came out there was a dude that looked like a cop standing there with my name out, I ain't trying to get arrested yet I just got here I sprang with the quickness of lightning and disappeared. I whistled for a cab and when it came near, the license plate said fresh and it had dice in the mirror. If anything I can say this cab is rare, but I thought naw forget it yo homes to Bel Air. I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8 and I yelled to the cab yo homes smell ya later. I looked at my kingdom, I was finally there, to sit on my throne as the Prince of Bel Air.
Jesus, people are still posting in this thread? I thought we all agreed to let sleeping dogs lie. It still looks like people aren't budging on either side.
You always have to be careful what you post, email, etc. Those things are permanent. I use my real name Dan Dorotik as my user name on everything because it forces me to consider everything I post very, very carefully. I think that some things should just be kept private. I mean, if you have to reveal something about yourself, you have to be very cryptic- you know, like, I have this friend, this real close friend, he did this thing.... maybe something like that. My rule is to try not to post anything that would embarrass my parents. Keeps me Internet-clean. Now, as far as private messages... Good luck with everything, and deny everything. Use the "my account was hijacked..." whatever you have to do. But please try to avoid cheating, even if you feel it's a minor thing. It's difficult, but just try. You'll never have to worry about being caught.
I definately wouldn't snitch. I'm not the professor...it's not my job to monitor the class (I can see if I were in a military school or something). If you have the balls to risk getting kicked out of school and you can get away with it...hey, more power to ya. Funny thing is if it weren't for cheating and shady behavior then this country wouldn't be what it is.
