I bought gas for $0.76 and seen it as low as $0.72. That was a good time to travel by car. Now it is better to travel by human power. Sometimes I walk to the fridge.
You kids may not believe this, but once upon a time(a few decades ago) there was no such thing as self serv gas stations. You could pull into a gas station and a man would run out and ask you if you wanted regular or premium gasoline. He would then fill up your car, check your oil, check the air pressure in your tires, and clean the windshield. Oh yea, I almost forgot, gas cost less than 25 cents per gallon.
