Cheap Dentist????

serious answer here;
Dr González; He is located in Fiesta (no joke) on Bellaire and Hilcroft. He is cheap and been there for many many years (20+). Its not "ghetto" he just happens to serve an area that is not financially well.

If the tooth is heavily decayed, which it probably is, you are also looking at a post/core and a crown. That is going to be a lot more than $1000.

DO NOT get a cheap root canal. Trust me. Go to an endodontist or at least a general practitioner comfortable doing root canals. Lots of GP's do root canals, especially on your front teeth. If the tooth hurts a lot right now then at the very least get a gross pulpal debridement to get you out of pain. That will buy you some time until you can save up for the full root canal.

Also, I don't know UT-Houston's policy in regards to root canals, but depending on the severity of the case it may not be treatable by a dental student. May need to go to a graduate endo student or faculty type practice.

Seriously though, don't get a ****ty root canal. It will end up costing you a lot more in the future and you may end up losing the tooth anyways.

Left side tooth 19, they suggested I get an Endodontic Therapy... They accept payment plan, which is good for me, I can pay in small parts...

Depends on the experience of the practitioner. Ask them. Just know that endo on #19 is not always straight forward.
