the Democratic National Committee put out an unusually blunt statement Friday morning. The gist: that the GOP sides with the terrorists.

One of the mods should lock this up. There is already a thread about the subject, posted earlier than this one. And what galls me the most is the blatant insult to the memory of the late, great Peter Sellers.

It really stings, doesn't it basso? Your pain and anguish is barely concealed.

I almost feel sorry for you.

I have no idea why I'm bothering.

I've said before that I've been fine with Obama in office.

    But Nobel Prize?!? Come on.

An MSN poll on their front page shows 62% of the public didn't think he deserved it.

And this article flat out says that even liberals are a tad embarrassed by it.

I love how the whack-jobs equal the feelings of all conservatives these days to y'all.

To be fair, the majority of conservatives these days are whackjobs. This wasn't always the case, but certainly appears to be the case nowadays.

at my wife's office, where they literally have life-sized posters of Obama on the walls, even they think this is "ridiculous."

I like the slowly growing new tone of the Dem party. They aren't saying the ridiculous things, but they are much more aggressively mocking the other side's saying them instead of retreating and getting defensive.

is Lech Walesa a whack job?

"So soon? Too early. He has no contribution so far," former Polish President Lech Walesa, who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1983, said Friday. "He is still at an early stage."
