Man i love Chauncey but i think the Clipps should still be fine, Mo can step up and especially if they get JR they'll be okay.
People need to stop that Dragic or flynn for xy garbage. Chauncey was their starting SG. They have muthaeffin Chris Paul, Foye, Williams and Bledsoe who all are more than solid guys which can PG. Clippers have zero need for another pg.
Sucks for Chauncey, this was his best chance in the past few years to get another ring. He's was playing great too. The NBA, where **** happens.
They'll miss his veteran savvy and big-shot abilities, but J.R. has the opportunity to blossom in Lob City, and is a better fit for that team, IMO. Sure, he's constantly ripped for wavering focus and off-court antics, but he's as gifted as they come. At only 26, he's in the prime of his career (currently averaging 35 PPG in the CBA), and I see him turning a corner w/ the Clips. He'll be in a championship environment, feasting on easy opportunities at the rim/behind the arc (he's proven he can convert both) w/ the league's purest PG running the show. Over his career, he's shooting the 3-ball at a 37% clip, and at one point, was the most efficient long-range gunner in Denver history. Play him tight, and he'll take you off the bounce and finish at the cup (just ask Gary Neal). His defense has been very shaky over the years, but he has all of the tools to be a strong perimeter defender, and I think we'll see the best of J.R. in Los Angeles. This would be the most dynamic lineup in the NBA, IMO: CP3 J.R. Smith Caron Butler Blake Griffin DeAndre Jordan
If the Clips have to rely on JR Smith to succeed, they are doomed to failure. Smith is too much of an inconsistent flake. Who on the Clippers will teach him to be a good defender? That certainly won't happen this season.
after all the conspiracy surrounding the Clippers "winning bid" this is a rather anticlimactic end to the drama... all the best to Billups, but I hope he hangs them up. Hall of Famer?
He's been one of the NBA's most prolific bench scorers over the last 5 years, and if signed by the Clips, will average double figs as the 4th or 5th option. No one's going to "teach" him to become a good defender. Defense is about packaging physical tools w/ will and desire, and I think he'll be much more motivated/focused playing for a legit title contender. He does take too many gambles and has attitude issues, but I think he's really going to explode on to the scene over the next 3-4 months. He's a wild card, no doubt. At 26, he already has 7 years of NBA experience under his belt, and I think this is the year he finally puts it all together.
How you gonna tell me that Karma aint real?... I met her about 4 years ago....She's a bit of a b****...But she real bro..Oh she very real
Anytime he's gotten minutes he's played well. I think they'll be fine at point, they problem now is that they have absolutely no size or defense at the 2.
Ring, Finals MVP, Mutiple All Star games, the only thing that truely holds him back is his early inconsistency. It wasn't until joining the Pistons that he really became an All Star caliber player and that was 6 years into his career.
It turned out to be a minor injury. The only blow ups he had to deal with in China involved his sister and girlfriend. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...-sister-chokes-woman-court-rampage-China.html
Griffin, Billups, Foye and Cook for Dwight Howard. TE for Wafer Howard Jordan Butler Wafer Paul / Mo I can see a lot of players being involved in a Griffin for Howard trade.
