OP, how can you say in the title that he dodges a bullet? Dodging a bullet in my book means, that he almost got injured but didn't or it was only a minor ankle sprain.
Who would have thought a dude named "Chase Budinger" would be any good? I didn't know jack about this dude before he came to the Rockets.
i feel like this team will be like this every year for the rest of my life. i would like to see a list of players for every season since the rockets won it all with the injury they had with how many games they missed that season. seems like every damn year.
is it time to worry with our 3 spot? Battier and Air Bud have been prone to injuries..if Morey is not trading for Melo or Iguodala, i want us to trade Jeffries expiring contract to a serviceable SF..
Whoa, the thread title spooked me. Back to "reply". I've been coming here for over a decade and I never understood this line of reasoning. How does having a sprained ankle now precludes him of having one during the season? I would think the opposite to be more true, which your second thought somewhat confirms.
problem with sprained ankles is that once you sprain one, you are more susceptible to them in the future. And with someone who depends a lot on his vertical to get off his shots, this is not going to be a good thing if it continues.
Some of you are really drama queens... Or maybe your emo. I'm going to write a emo song about y'all called "cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut on myself" WhEn I have it written and recorded I will post it here.
I wasn't saying the ankle sprain that just happened to Bud will preclude him from getting one during the season. I was saying it was better that this happened during the offseason, IF this was going to happen to one of our players. You're thinking too much into what I said. My second thought is just natural paranoia from Chase getting recent ankle sprains.
i'm not so worried about this...we need to stop with all this curse talk it's a new day, we will be fine. Chase, Yao and the others will all be ready for start of season and we will have a great one
Lee can guard some 3s but he's as much of a forward as JT is. He should be fine before the season starts, but we need him healthy and for Shane to be infinitely better this year. I'm guessing we'll see Harris playing the 3 in preseason?
