Too bad we have to let a athletic freak like White go, he would have been much more valuable than Cook or even barry, as far as on court production goes.

LoL at 2:20. That look like it hurt. Prove that big men shouldn't be playmakers.

More valuable then Cook but not really with Brent. His veteran leadership could help the team even if He stays on the bench. The team needs players to step up and help the coach guide the team especially during the times were the young players are erratic.

The veteran leadership of Barry is overrated. He'll never see playing time on the floor and we already have our floor leader in Battier. Brent can make his biggest contribution if he retires and takes a small buyout and allows the young guys to grow.

Great Job, Morey. I really like Chase. And I know he has not even played an NBA game yet, but it seems likely that Chase will have a long and lustrous carreer. I think Chase will be in the Top Ten for shooting percentage most, if not all NBA seasons.

Barry was super soft, refused to shoot the ball even he was open, and constantly resulted in a turnover. A soft guy can not be a leader, which is the case for him. Actually his brother, Jon Barry is much tough, and was a team leader when he was here. Many people like Jon Barry.

What happens to that Vet Leadership when Batman gets traded?

Back to the subject, Chase looks to have great decision making at the level he's playing as of right now. Once he develops so will that skill, he could become something special and I have a feeling he's going to be more than just a spot up shooter.

I can't believe that Morey locked him down for 4 years. Usually guys like Chase that goes in the 2nd round, sign a 2 or maybe 3 year contract but never 4. So good job Morey. No so much Chase's agent.

The title is misleading...he hasn't actually "signed" yet, but they have reached an agreement. The signing should happen by next week.

Are you serious? A SF who mostly shoots jumpers is going to be in the top 10?

If my dogs little stuffed animal toy could speak it would probably say the same thing.

I seriously believe Chase will have more than just a spot up shooting career. I think he will be a special player to the Rockets. He has alot of potential. Certainly more than Donte Green had last year as a prospect. He can shoot from anywhere, off the glass, pull up, dunk, drive to the hoop, breakaways, fades, he has moves around the basket. This guy is a real complete player already and his IQ and athleticism are all there to match. This is one of those guys if he succeeds proves the white guy syndrome is what he suffered. There is no reason a prospect as talented as him should fall to the second round or even bottom half of the first. They just didnt have the combination of shooting field goal percentage wise, range wise, and athleticism above him until you got to the top 10 picks. Even his basketball IQ is above some of the top picks like Stephon Curry. I expect big things from him if Adelman uses him right and gives him the playing time. Hopefully it works out that way.

I could end up being too optimistic. But there is something about this kid. He shoots with total confidence, he wants the shot, yet he already has a high enough BB IQ that he knows when to pass so he is not a selfish player. He also knows how to use the glass for his shot when he has to.

He should have been a first rounder and eventually, everyone will know it.

Has anybody else noticed that Chase has exceptional court vision, I've seen numerous nice passing plays from Chase.

I'm gonna set my comparison to a cross between Flyin' Ryan and Air Bullard.
