Chase is a very good straight ahead athlete, he has good size, and is capable of being a very good shooter. Unfortunately he struggles with his confidence, and quite frankly does not work as hard as he should and does not live and breath basketball. He is a solid NBA player, and can be a key reserve on a championship team, but he will never reach his potential because of his personality.

Parson's is getting alot of love on this board. He is like Chase in that his production in college did not meet his potential. He was a poor scorer in college, and frustrated his coaches. He can hit an open shot though, and can pass very well.

I read a few posters that point to his size as evidence that he is a better defender. I have seen him play quite a bit, and I suspect he will be as bad, or worse defensively than Chase. He is weak, and lacks defensive speed from side-to-side.

Although, get an elite shoot blocking defender at the 5, and all this talk of poor defense from Chase and Parson will dry up.
