Believe it or not, I've actually timed trips to like Subway with the sports talk! Makes for a more enjoyable drive.
There are times when I'll sit in my driveway waiting for a commercial break. Especially during interviews/etc. Sometimes I'll even keep my cheap 7 dollar walkman in my car so I don't have to sit there in the car like a r****d.
That was freakin hillarious, the way Lance does that off the top of his head is really good. He should do some stand up comedy. But he was topped today by the internet gangster. “trying to bust an all-caps”, “scrolling up on the cut” That was awesome.
this post baffles me since Craig Roberts is possiblye the most egotistical, cocky, arrogant, pompous ass that has ever lived.
chance- so that's 40 minutes of showtime, that's not too bad, i seriously thought it was like 30 minutes. ok maybe i was exagerrating then! the same thing happens to me, for a good amount of trips i'm listening to a commercial block and that runs into the traffic/sportsflash and by the time real programming comes along i'm out of the car. experiencing that over and over kind of clouds my judgement of how much actual show there is.
While we are on the topic of the station... PLEASE LISTEN TO VAN ON TONIGHT I busted my ass on it and it is the funniest thing I have ever produced.
No offense, but since we are all family here, I'm not a big fan of Van On. I will try to catch it tonight if possible, what time?
Why is there even a baseball discussion going on? The Rockets play tomorrow. The Texans play on Sunday. The Astros play...uh...in about six months.
Good. Bye. Never liked his extreme anti-homer-ism. Being real is one thing, but getting off at mocking and belittling the home teams is plain irritating.
Out of Rich, David and Charlie; he was the only one who still gave the astros a slight chance to still make a run at the wildcard back in August.
Charlie isn't a basher or a homer. He's just honest about the way he views things and he usually has facts to back him up.
I used to hate Charlie too, but after I stepped back from his show for a bit, I realized that he was right most of the time, even when I wasn't happy with what he had to say.
