Charlie Palillo leaving 610???

Me too. As soon as I heard Rich Lord say "this is Rich with David.", I changed the station.

Dalati just doesn't have "it"

 

I always got the impression that Charlie didn't like Laura Reynolds. Perhaps that was after "the break up" or maybe it was just me. He just always seemed kind of short with her, unlike the other people (David) who joke around and such with Laura.

 

Just FYI, Charlie and Laura Reynolds have been dating for almost a year. Charlie has never been married. Charlie is short with everyone, but particularly with Laura. He is a VERY private guy who HATES anyone knowing about his personal life. So, he will never give the impression she and he are dating to the general public.

John McLain came on their show and gave him a hard time about it and his response was, "I don't know what you are talking about."

As for CP on 610, he isn't coming back.

 

Laura has a 22 pound cat. Holy cow. That's a moose of a cat. Oh, and she looks nice, too.

Well, the only other station would be 790 - so maybe Clear Channel is throwing mad cash at people or maybe they promised him some senior position...

Still I prefer local broadcasting to the national shows, so if 790 is gonna go w/ a total ESPN/Fox broadcasting w/ maybe a Palillo thrown in - I won't bother. I can listen to that national crap on Sirius.

610 also still has Rome + the Texans & Rockets & the inside info & lead ins/post games to them. Dan Patrick, Colin Cowherd, and Palillo won't be enough to switch me. Oh, I know they have the Astros too, but I quit listening to Milo on 740 after he went senile about 12 years ago.

 

Maybe not a full time position but it would be fun do do another "The Intern" like show.
