Figured there was a good chance he would get in as a replacement. Good for him, drafted back in 2002. A short 16 years later he's an All-Star.
Love it. Great to see vets like him and Lowrie getting to have the experience and recognition for the first time.
Well-deserved for an unassuming Stros hero. I'm quite sure he will enjoy it a whole lot yet still be grounded.
Came up with Braves, teammate with Brian McCann. Morton Injured his Arm, Tommy John Surgery has a setback. Thinking of Retirement, Comeback with the Phillies, Pirates, Astros Believed in him to World Series Game 7 Hero to 2018 All Star. Thank You Charlie for Believing in Yourself, and Being so Clutch as a Astro.
We have three in the game this year. The two who missed it -- Keuchel and McCullers -- made it last year. Crazy.
I've had this bad feeling he might retire after this year as I know he's a family man and misses them during the long season. This interview made me one happy guy.
Definitely agree . I think he's got a good chance to be re-signed too. When he got here, he was a gamble since he was injured often and couldn't put together many full seasons. Now he's worth a flyer since he's *knock on wood* been pretty damn healthy and consistent in his 2 years here.
