Am i the only one that sees this as anti-nazi? Before Harvey was the nazi rally in Virginia and then we heard that a bunch of rallies especially those in Texas were cancelled (Texas A&M). The Harvey hit and no one gives a **** about the nazis because their message was drowned in the flood waters and what was left standing was proud Americans exercising Texan values. I don't know this dude and have never read any of his work but that's my initial interpretation of that cover. For anyone that read it or is familiar with his work, how off am I?

Nope. They're assholes, they've always been assholes, I'm glad they have the right to be assholes.

I think it's disgusting Charlie Hebdo is well-known enough for this to cause outrage.

Lol. This is why France deserves to get their ass kicked everytime someone goes to war with them.

It's satire. If it's not challenging and/or offensive, then it's not doing its job.

The cover doesn't say all Harvey victims are neo-Nazis. DIEU EXISTE! ""God exists!" They are pointing at the absurdity of the survivors thanking God for saving them. "God is good!" "My family and I are blessed!" It is making a karmic connection between the (cancelled) neo-Nazi rallies in Texas with the flooding thereafter. I.e., if God exists to save the good ones, then He surely exists to have punished the bad ones, " All the Neo-Nazis of Texas.”

    Kathy Griffin tried "satire."

Sometimes the **** ain't funny or appropriate. Again, IMO, the Editor should be shamed into leaving.

I guess one of the few bonuses of this last week and a half is that i havent had time to worry about crap like this and Melania's foot wear.

I can't imagine a scenario where I would care one way or the other about something Charlie Hebdo does.

If a cartoon saitre requires a whole paragraph of explanation, I am not sure that it's very good.
