check the front page of clutchfans. on the right side of the page there is a radio link to him calling in. he clearly states, (whether joking or not) doesnt sound like he is, that chinese players dont belong in the nba and that for that matter yao is a communist and no commie should be playing in the nba. it's no secret that he is a staunch conservative but c'mon. hating on asians? he can hate the fact that yao falls down at least twice a game even when nobody is around him. he can hate the fact that yao has the ball stripped from his hands by shorter players. he can hate the fact that yao gets blocked by the rim sometimes. but attacking his race and country's political belief is just stupid. or shall i say classic barkley. btw barkley, the communist economy in china seems to be doing much better than the capitalist "free" economy in the US. sorry for the rant.

Agreed, the rockets have to prove that they can get out of the 1st round, until that happens forget about all of this championship talk. One step at a time. Barkley is the 1 analyst who tells the truth about most of the teams. For the record, Kobe and TMac are not on the same level. Kobe has gotten out of the 1st round unlike TMac.
Another good reason for the Artest nobody talks about is preventing the Lakers from getting Ron Artest. There was admiration between Artest and Kobe and the Lakers showed interest. If Artest and Kobe were on the same team, it would be game over.

i may be new guy to this forum, but i am far from new to barkley and his haterisms. how can anyome say he does not hate??? it is as clear as the fact that as box of donuts does not last more then 10 minutes aoround charles barkley. and kobe, i would not put kobe on that elevated level considering circumstances. if kobe had the same probs right now as t-mac, i would bet that his numbers would not be higher. but, as i know many peeps here watch rockets games, we know that t-,ac heats up after a while. he seems to like to make teams think he is having a subpar season before he rips 6 or 7 consecutive 30+ point games and plays "real" ball. and that is smart actually as that messes up team's scouting reports a bit. this year will be very, very interesting as everyone is a 20 or more point scoring threat with exceptoion of rafe - who is up and down more than a roller coaster. but, the fun has just begun - SO re-f**king-lax some of u guys!

never listen to the radio since im in another country. just saw barkleys name and heard some things that sounded barkleyesque then some really over the top things. sorry for the misunderstanding. just took me back to yaos first year when shaq made the ching chong comment and he wasnt reprimanded. but since i know its fake now. its funny.
