I dont know if youre referring to the "Barkley on a mobile" comment. Anytime the radio stations do "on a mobile" interviews theyre fake. we all know barkley was the rocket that posted up with his fat butt to the basket.
The "Mobile" interviews are great. Especially Walton on a mobile. The only way the rockets will get Barkley's respect is to win and get out of the first round. And who cares what he thinks anyways. He is always wrong and he is just there to be the comic relief.

i don't post on here often, but what barkley said did kind of startle me for a second, i was listening to it while i was on the computer, but anyways, if our offense can flow better than it is now, and if aaron brooks can continue to be a spark off the bench, then we have a good chance at going deep into the playoffs this season. 2-0 Let's Get It In!
Let me say it like this. Charles talk about he have gone out the first round, had better point average even got to the finals. But did he got that Chasmpionship? Uh no would it really make that be diffrence if the Rockets not only gets out of the 1st round but be at the finals and win Championship. Would that make him eats his words by the way he has a lot to eat in both ways, lol. But anyways he then needs to shut up in he is subject.
Its gotten to the point to where I don't even pay attention to Chuck anymore. What he said was true, but he does seem to have a lot more negative things to say about the Rockets than any other team. Oh well, that's just the way he is.
Why is it hard for people to understand why he and Kenny talk about the Rockets differently than they talk about other teams? I know many people on here don't remember or just weren't fans during the era, but THEY PLAYED FOR THE ROCKETS. Chuck loved his time in Houston and wanted to win a title badly while he was here. I think there was even a rumor about him working for the Rockets awhile back on the radio or tv (don't remember.) Chuck wants the Rockets to be good, you can tell because he gets frustrated by them when they play like pansies. Why do you guys think he got on T-Mac's back when T-Mac was playing like a little girl two years ago and was whining to the media? Chuck rides T-Mac hard because he wants the Rockets to be good and he knows T-Mac is a better player than he allows himself to be.

Chuck's been pretty hard on Phoenix as well the last 3 years. He never really bought into them. And he LIVES in Phoenix. So, this "hating" might, ironically, be a sign of affection for our city and team.

Charles Barkley is really funny. Maybe he cares for the rockets, all he speaks is maybe just some kind of negative motivation to the rocket's players. His joke has taken a bit too far when he say chinese player cant play. How long is the history of chinese basketball compared to the Americans? It takes time to set up the basketball genes. Chinese will just get better and better.
