I have watched him on TNT/TBS a couple times and both times he praised Miller and Davis. One night he even said that Miller, Davis, and Bibby are the top young point guards. Either Steve is vet or Charles just doesnt think he is that good.

Do most of the media think like this about Steve?

No! Charles loves Steve! He knows Steve is goin to be a great player but he probably is looking at their roles. Steve hasn't quite got the skills of a great pg yet. But he is still learning. He has reduced his turn-overs alot since last season and now he just needs time to learn when to shoot, when to pass, when to take over. It's a learning process and Charles just doesn't want to make Steve feel he is great till he gets to the top. It's like he has more respect for the guy. I see where he is coming from.

Inside he knows he's great, outside wants him to be better!

Chuck does everything for a reason. He knows Stevie has all the skills to be great and I would guess by not including him that Chuck is trying to inspire hime.

the comment was: the top three point gaurds are davis, miller, and bibby. Ernie Johnson then said yeah, but what about marbury, then charles said someting like stephon is a vet now.

I know it doesnt really matter, but it seemed like chuck was always behing steve and now he doesnt even mention him. He also said something like the rockets WONT make the playoffs.

Everybody in this damn league thinks the rockets wont make the playoffs and I cant wait to prove them wrong. Whenever we beat a team they always have excuses and say how could we lose to the crappy rockets and how could cba reject "Hoochie Norris" kill us. The rockets get no respect from the media. I hate hearing about how we're a good young team who will be there NEXT year. Our record is 12-9 and I guess in a way I hope people keep taking us for granted so we can sneak up on teams.

Charles gets too much respect on this board IMHO he's a guy who'll will choose to go into the Hall of Fame as a Phoenix Sun yet it seems to me he gets more respect than Dream at times.

I think that was more a jab at his old team than a compliment for us... but hey, I'll take it.
