I don't know about that, but I just put myself on my ignore list. I've really been pissing me off lately.
I thought I was the only person on this BBS nuts enough to do this! I have met my match. Bravo 2 U ima, bravissimo!!!
Traditionally, gambling in any form is considered "degenerate" or unethical in Protistant thought. Religious/Moralist influences are the reason that gambling isn't legal in every state, and it used to be the reason that states didn't have lotteries. It's slid back the other way quite a bit in recent years, but over the objection of religious groups, and only because states are more tempted by the money than afraid of upsetting some people. I took the following from a website called biblestudylessons.com. I don't know anything about the people who run the site but this little bit about gambling is fairly typical of the standard Protestant position as I understand it. I realize this quote is long, but organizationally it lends its self to being skimmed. Please also note that I am in no way taking a position on this or Bill Bennet by posting this, I'm just seeking to clarify.
