Exactly, EXACTLY what I was thinking. Ridiculous. TOTALLY incomprehensible, TOTALLY inexcusable. I bet someone in this freakin message board could rip a replay of the original angle in no time, yet it never ocurs to these bozos to use the original angle? PATHETIC
Yea, but Carr has been nowhere close in his deep balls today... in fact, a couple of them should have been picks. Carr doesn't have the confidence to air it out yet... and a lot of that has to do with him never really having a true offensive line to work behind, thus he's much more adept to the quick outs and dump-offs. Yay... a 3 and out... ugh. ps - its now safe to say that the honeymoon is officially OVER with this team... if they lose today.
The Charges are playing the role that the Texans use to play. They are thriving in the role of underdog and playing like they have nothing to lose. Now, they believe they can win this game and are playing like it.
I understand that...even so, why not let him air one out on a fly route to, say Bradford, who should burn their secondary...see where that goes. Or a slant/post down the middle. Or a fade on the sides. Or even a hook. We can get more than just dinks and dunks for 2 yards ... wasn't that what we were workin on in the preseason?
nick.. I was going to start a thread similiar to that.... the first two years we give the texans breaks, but 3rd year to we expect results... this came up because someone was telling me the other day.. its your 3rd year.. cant' call yourself expansion any longer
yea... why they decided to play like this TODAY (when they've been the underdog in probably their last 25 straight games) is why I'm dissapointed. Great... now they cut the feed... and they shut the power down... maybe they forgot to pay their Reliant energy bill (god know's, with their prices, its probably very costly!)
They could always just open the roof to remedy the "light" situation... but wait... THE ROOF RUNS ON POWER! Bobby and Charlie should get out and "push" it open! EDIT: ROOF OPEN!... will this be a good luck charm?!?
BTW.... wasn't a supposed "strength" of having training camp in Houston was that the players would get used to the heat conditions, and thus we'd have an "advantage" in our home games (where the roof would be open at all costs, unless there was rain). In fact, that's part of the reason why they first went with the white jerseys at home! I know its not good for fan comfort, but if you have an advantage, why not take it?!? (although, with the amount of time this team spends in the "bubble", i doubt they're even used to the conditions anyways....)
