Thank God for JJ Moses and field position! GREAT return, near midfield, that should get us some momentum!
Boy, turnovers, penalties and now are tackling sucks. Dom Capers is going to have a field day with this bunch tomorrow.
I still think the offensive coordinator needs to take advantage of: 1) Bradford's speed (Go/fly route); 2) the new defensive holding rules; 3) the TEs.
Carr still hasn't learned when to throw the ball away?!? And, the fact that they've made mistakes on every single side of the ball today (and now special teams...), makes me wonder if they might have overlooked this game on the schedule (although, since its the first, I don't know how that's possible). If it was any other team except San Diego, we'd be getting steamrolled right now. This is too winnable of a game to let it slip away.
hopefully we get most of these penalties and idiot mistakes over with in the first game :\ really boneheaded play with the fair catch interference as well..... sigh
Man... this coverage is PATHETIC! Hopefully, a replay will overule this play (although I don't think they'll get a good angle to see his feet... hopefully, i'm wrong) EDIT: maybe if we had some endzone cameras, this would be overturned... alas, we don't..... = tochdown... = possibly horrible first game loss.
Into the third year, and this team still has zero pass rush. You can't let an NFL QB set back and pick out his receiver.
Ugh... I like the way the announcers are propping up the chargers, and not ripping into our defense... because, our defense sure as hell made them look much better than they really are.
Thats what I was thiking?? However, I TIVOd the original angle and he got both his tip toes in so its a moot point.
