The other famous Chargers rookie dinner came back in 1998, when a young man named Ryan Leaf was expected to take everyone out to dinner. Leaf was, um, reluctant, we'll say ... so Junior Seau(notes) stole his credit card and made it happen anyway. Leaf had a fit, and his bill was only $3,000. I hope everyone enjoyed their Extra Value Meals that night.

It had to be the head case Ryan Leaf.

Make Barkley pay after Barkley spent $10,000 alone.

I heard that during the dinner Merriman took quite a few shots at Tequila.

    Errr, I mean of Tequila.

    333 admin charge

2223 event service charge, which is basically charge for the room they were in I guess.

$11,117.75 is the subtotal before tax + service / 53 man roster = $209.00 per person just on food and drinks alone

    A) Jamal Williams was extra hungry that day

    B) They must have gotten pretty faded on booze

    C) They invited practice squad players, mistresses, baby mama's and baby's mama's mama's.

That's the part that shocked me.

Over $2,500 in "event" and "admin" service charges. What a crock that is.

    Just roid rage, you know.

After I slam a QB to the ground I still somehow have the energy left over to go into convulsions.

    I don't hate Shawne Merriman, I think he's hilarious.

I do hope he runs into Maurice Jones-Drew again though.
