I've honestly never hated some one as much as a Dallas Maverick and loved as much as a Houston Rocket.keep Terry if you can..be has many intangibles.

If lawson is waived and we pick him up we will have one of the deepest teams in the league

I don't think we have a high enough waiver priority position to pick him up on waivers.

if lawson is waived and any other team besides picks him up (immensely more likely), we will still have the weakest PG rotation in the league

if denver could trade him for nothing, they would and avoid the whole waiver process

Since we don't have the cap space to claim him off of waivers, correct me if I'm wrong, but if/after he clears waivers he would have to choose to sign here as a free agent, right?

yes. IF he is waived and IF he clears waivers he will have to choose to come here.
IF we spend the mle on kj/smith/harell then we can only play him a vet minimum.

    Nice

A underrated plus about the Lawson trade was that we cleared 3 roster spaces. Now we can try to re-sign Terry, and then try to nab either Alan Williams or possibly Chuck Hayes or some other free agent.

    Thornton isn't a PG.

We only have 2 roster spots left right now

Honestly i'd go for 2 big's like Hayes and Williams instead of Terry.

With Howard's knee and back problems, Dmo coming off of surgery we need more front court depth then just Jones, Capela and Harrell.

Now that we have 2 PGs plus the fact that Harden handles the ball alot, all Terry is just a spot-up shooter for us now off the bench.

What about Lawson's legal issues and Beverley's injury history? A 3rd PG seems like a necessity.

Yup. If I hadn't already been sold on Jet, him facilitating that meeting between Harden & Dwight would've done the job.

I think he'll be good for Ty, too.

Agreed. We need Jet to police that locker room. With Jet there everyone, even Lawson, will be on their best behavior.

And he wears a headband. We can run him, Lawson, and Brewer out there at the same time.
