Having blind faith for years isn't a virtue, it's a vice.

Agreed. If someone can’t figure out how to consistently shoot on this team, we are in trouble. Teams are going to continue to clog the paint and trap Jalen until someone else makes them pay for it. Assembling a team of athletes who can’t shoot is not a winning recipe.

Udoka is basically hoping either Amen or Tari have this miraculous night that they can outrebound teams by themselves and keep shouldering the load.

I bet he’s hoping someone starts making some of the umpteen million open shots they’re missing. I tell the guys I coach, I can get help get you open shots, but I can’t make them for you.

If we go by history, then the team will shoot better while the hot shooting of Jalen is not sustainable, we saw that against Dallas and now GSW.

Individual numbers go down, team number of role players conversion goes up.

Someone is gonna need to figure out how to make an open shot regardless of what Jalen or anyone else does. He played poorly last night and someone has to be able to hit an open shot regardless.

his efficiency is still not good

40% from the field, 39% from deep, and 54% TS

he has gotten better, but we still need more

Last year he would string together like 4-5 of these types of poor games in a row. Interested to see how he responds next game and how he adjusts to defenses increasingly designed to stop him.

Advocating for a young talented player to get a shot at some playing time over the corpse of John Wall on a tanking team is nothing like the embarrassing cult of Jalen has been the past 3+ years.

There's simply no comparison, I'm just not a player only fan... in any sport.

Porter had some skills, but he didn't then and apparently still does not have it between the ears. It was obvious they had him there for a reason with a slim hope that he might get it.

But since you always bring it up...

Do you think I'm a player only fan?

    Part of a "cult"?

Or could it be I'm a glass half full guy?

One bad game and his TS% goes back down to below average. That's the problem with small sample size.
