@Mathloom I genuinely think you should make a chapter 7 of Jalen Green, it’s always fun reading your takes and it seems like we’re at a crossroads with him. Those of us who still believe, those of us who are ready to move on…we stand at a critical juncture. ..well that’s just what I think, for all I know the front office isn’t concerned at all. I for one would like to still believe in Jalen
Bright Side: - There is noticeable progress in his defensive game. - His passing skills have improved, though this is not reflected in the stats. - There is a noticeable improvement in his rebounding, which is confirmed by the statistics. Negatives: - The jump shot has been the subject of some criticism. This aspect seems to have deteriorated, presumably due to a lack of confidence, given his previous inconsistency in shooting. - His approach to the game is more complicated than it needs to be. There is a tendency to over-dribble and then take challenging shots, even though he has an impressive jumper and a quick first step. - There is a lack of ability to draw fouls. Often opting for flashy plays over more straightforward fouls has been a trend since he was a rookie. We need to give close observation of body language and work ethic is critical. Trade considerations could arise from signs of resignation, dissatisfaction with a diminished role despite the team's success, or a lack of commitment to improvement.
There are plenty of legit reasons to criticize Jalen right now. The most basic one is that he isn’t very good at basketball. Yet you always choose to be weird and go with misogynistic insults about his manhood or whatever. It’s utterly bizarre, but quite telling and embarrassing. We get it - you’re insecure in your masculinity so you try to seem like some cool alpha online by dogging a kid who you don’t know for things completely unrelated to how he plays basketball.
Then believe lol Quit getting caught in the hate echo chamber around here and its not that difficult to continue holding out hope while admitting he has not been great.
