No. Don't pretend a two year difference between a 8 and 10 year vet is the same the difference between a 2nd and 4th year player.
Worth bringing to the top of page 7. This is what I keep saying. All it takes is to round out his game a little, fill his frame a little. Kid is a far more lethal scorer than De'Aron Fox, just needs the same ecosystem.
I know you are smarter than that. It's obvious that Jalen and KPJ are 2 years apart, no talk about "they are 21 and 22" is going to change that.
He was asked to create a lot more contested shots than he was last season with Wood and Gordon soaking up a lot of the defensive attention. He would absolutely thrive next season next to somebody like Wemby, Scoot, or Amen who is a serious threat to collapse defenses.
Indeed, even if they decide to let the aged 1st ballot HOF'er go after next season, he bamboozled them, imagine once he turns 50 yrs old, he may get a guaranteed 50$mill deal
You never know. Hopefully by the time KPJ is 50, Jalen Green will finally be a net positive player. Here's hoping!
Nah that's asking too much for your Corey Brewer narrative created player Or is it Lou Will created narrative player? Are they combo narrative created? Lets hope the 45 yr old doesn't lose it if the Rockets pick 2nd and take his replacement
Probably true, I doubt he ever becomes a net positive, but it's the off-season, it's the time to be hilariously optimistic.
Well we can't hold Corey Brewer accountable, that usually falls on the so called best player/highest paid, which for some reason didn't apply in the reg. season, so maybe it magically happens in the off-season since its that time to be hilariously optimistic(another created narrative)
Clearly. Performance at 21 doesn't matter at all. They aren't completely finished developing as a player till 22
Usually 4 yrs in is what you see is what you get outside of the surefire HOF'ers who showcased it day one rook year and don't need 4 for you to know what it is All performances matter from day one as a whole, but we live in a era where 10 or 20 game samples trump the entire body of work, which is dogmatic thinking I get that players develop on diff. timelines than others, but thru that you want to see flashes and then monthly consistency, that carries over season to season like Harden did for his 8 yrs but you knew who Harden was day one with Rockets after making his debut, plus he already had his feet wet with OKC After watching a player for first 4 seasons you pretty much know what you are getting, just speaking from my lens of it All the young bulls just need to be more consistent and getting a taste of being a fringe play-in team which would further enhance their said development Just my 2cent narrative
Green has been in the league for 2 years, how can there already be 6 chapters? At this rate his book is going to be 60 chapters not including highschool, the G league, or retirement.
Not sure why you think it has to adhere to the way books are written. Think of it more like a film beat sheet. In general I see just as many people wanting to move to the next chapter as I do people who want fewer chapters. So I'm listening to the audience and finding a middle ground.
