I think it depends on how good his teammates are as well. I think odds are now if he gets a few good teams around him he could have 6-7 all nba teams. One more guy with Jabari and him and they will be trouble for several years.
I have not watched a lot of SGA this year. I am aware that is scoring is blown up. And I think that’s a good example of the fact that you have to give these guys multiple years.
Jalen Green in his first 78 games of his career only had 9 total games where he had 5 or more assists. Green has at least 5 or more assists in 7 of his last 8 games (4 assists in the game that did not qualify). It's almost like he developed a new skill overnight.
I was pretty sure green was a capable passer. Man was always willing to defer to his teammates his rookie year. This year he honed it more to set his teammates up
Shai's ceiling I think is higher than Booker and Lavine. Green and Shai are similar I think. I can see Green looking like Shai in a couple of years with similar numbers.
Yeah Shai is very good. He flies under the radar a bit because he's on OKC and his game is more crafty than flashy but I agree that his ceiling is above Lavine and Beal
Agree on the first half of your post but Green's ceiling is even higher than Shai's in my opinion. He's more athletic
He’s right on schedule and he and Lavine are putting up almost identical 21/4/4 lines right now. By year 4 I believe he will be considered a top 10 player.
The next 4 games (Denver, Denver, Phoenix, Golden State) are an excellent challenge and prepare them for a really good remainder of the season. It's going to be an incredible test and after it the team will start climbing the offensive and defensive rating ladders. We haven't seen anything yet when it comes to Jalen. There are some 40-pt explosions coming in December and January.
What impresses me the most is his ability to incorporate the mid range game. Either a pull up jumper or floater. It’s opened up his game tremendously.
