Except stats show the Cavaliers' defensive rating without Jarrett Allen is significantly worse defensively, whereas Cavaliers without Mobley is more or less the same or better defensively.

You are free to share sources on why this is insignificant, maybe do better than "I have numbers but I won't show it".

I don't even know what your point is?

I have never said their defense was just as good with Mobley as opposed to with Mobley and Allen.

The stats are implying that the majority of Cavalier's defensive success is due to Jarrett Allen, since their defensive numbers crater when he is out (19 games).

The stats are also saying that across the 8 games without Mobley, the Cavalier's still maintain the same level of defensive intensity (or even better).

So now those stats are supposed to be implying something.

Are you really trying to prove anything with an 8 game sample size and not telling us who those teams were or who else was playing or not playing?

Once again I have never said the team's defensive success was not due to Allen or that he is not an important piece to that defense.

Once again why are you arguing against a point I have never made.

What is your point concerning Mobley?

Like I said, you're more than welcome to provide numbers to refute my point. I'm not doing your research for you.

You are the one that engaged my original post, if you can't even remember what argument you engaged me on, then we can frankly move on from this.

You can actually try to back-up your point with research, or keep spouting random tangents, it doesn't matter to me.

I wanted to draft Jalen but I was never super high on him. KPJ is actually my guy despite his issues lol but Jalen has really changed my opinion of him since the beginning of the season. Really hope him and KPJ can put it together. I think Jalen will be a star player and that was not my opinion earlier this season

I’m was a Mobley guy and very skeptical of Jalen Green early but man Green is improving by the second. I’m relieved to be wrong, with some added strength and a reliable mid range spot , I think he’s going to be a big time scorer. Mobley is a helluva young player but so is our young guy.

What the hell is your point?

I have no idea what your point is other than the cavalier's defense is not as good with Allen not playing and nobody ever said otherwise.

The season is ending... my question is: could someone who really understands this game be foolish enough to say that Mobley should have been taken with the second pick in the draft?

    Let's enjoy Green!

I know his progress is talked about a lot. But, it's almost unheard of to make noticeable differences to your jumpshot form, add strength, AND improve your shot while doing those 2 things DURING the season. Those two improvements are usually done in 2 summers.

He just looks far more comfortable, you can tell the game slowed down for him.
