I’ve been more than happy to eat crow, or whatever else. But before we start sucking eachother’s diks you might want to check Anthony Edward’s rookie post Allstar numbers again, Green is still below across the board so I’m not sure what you are gloating about.
I wonder if the Rockets competing at the end here is in a way meant to help Green have a shot at ROY? I mean he is definitely on the rise. DD
Admittedly it's not an overly impressive stat line, but the names on the list sure are. lol The efficiency requirement is what really narrows it down. Cade is clearing those numbers easily, but his TS% is garbage.
Maybe look at their scoring efficiency? Post asb Edwards has a 3ppg advantage with their respective rookie campaigns but a near 3 percentage pt difference in true shooting percentage. So ya Edwards avarged 3 more ppg in their post asb numbers but much less efficiently.
Ant also balled out post ASB that is a fact and credit to him. If Green doesn't match that number who cares, he's still played really well and the numbers are close. Ant averaged 4 more points but shot the ball nearly 3 more times and played 3 more minutes per game.
Never forget when Jalen Green was in a shooting slump he started shooting more shots in practice and some of you bozos made fun of him. We haven't forgotten the disrespect. Now some of you in other threads wondering if Jalen should be considered for ROY.
I’m not saying one is better than the other. I’m just pointing out if you want to gloat you might want to remember what I said originally, I’m only wrong if he beats Edwards in every category.
Scoring efficiency is one of the most important metrics when discussing two... Scoring guards. So yes brushing it off is odd.
You have a weird definition of across the board. Edwards post-all stars numbers 17/5/4 on 55TS% Green's post all-star numbers 20/4/3 on 58 TS% Ignoring Green scoring 3 more points on 3% better efficiency is a bit of a peculiar choice.\ Edit: I see you are referring to rookie numbers instead.
