Yes, his shooting slipped at the end, but I was so impressed by his defense to close out the game. The Spurs kept trying to iso Green on Murray, but if I recall correctly Murray couldn’t score a single time. When Jalen isn’t too out-muscled by the opposition, his quick feet and reflexes (not to mention his above-average athleticism) make him tough to score on…and that didn’t seem to be the case earlier in the season. I cannot wait to see how he keeps developing!
As Jalen continues to progress and is looking like a franchise player I think the question about point guard becomes even more critical. we know KPJ isn’t it. We know Christopher isn’t a point guard. We know Schroeder is a free agent. And we know there’s no point guard in this draft worth picking where the rockets are picking (or even where Brooklyn is picking). it’s a position critical to Jalen Green’s success. What’s our plan for next season? John Wall/Nix combo?
We got ourselves a star ladies and gentlemen! Next season will be fun with a full offseason under his belt.
he is awesome...................still laugh at those people who wrote him off and tried to attack him as if he was an 8 year veteran
I don't know about next season. Currently nbadraftdotnet has 8 PG's in the top 14 picks next year. If they can get Chet/Paolo/Jabari this year it will line up nicely with a PG perhaps in the next draft. 2023 pick PG Green SG Jabari SF Sengun PF bench Christopher Garuba Tate Martin 2022 Brooklyn pick ?? (these last 2 may be used to improve the pick next year for a target in the draft the rockets want at PG etc) 2023 Bucks pick ??
I just hope we luck out in the lottery coming up. looks like we won’t be a complete bottom dweller next year
