I understand the problem here. You are a player only fan, thus you assume others view things from that kind of mentality. I'm a Rockets fan. When Rockets players do well, I like it. When they look terrible, I don't like it. Jalen Green was the worst player in the league for a LOT of this season.....and of course his cult continued to blow him no matter what. I criticized him when he was terrible. Now he's playing better, so I'm giving him his props. There's no more to it than that. As to KPJ, he also struggled to start the season, but he really turned it on after that. I criticized him when he played poorly, I gave him his props when he played well. Take tonight for example, you are still going with this "not sure KPJ will be in Houston very long".....the night he single handedly put the team on his back and turned things around with 19 in the 3rd quarter......since you are a player only fan, you still bash him because you only have eyes for Jalen Green and you foolishly fail to realize that the two players compliment one another. It's okay, I'm not expecting much. Hopefully you turn things around one day.
Green makes everyone look better when he's in attack mode. KPJ makes everyone look worse when he's in attack mode. It's not a knock on KPJ, just that Green is much better in that role and the team looks better for it. Including KPJ.

That's my biggest issue w KPJ and I just can't envision him actually running an offense. When he is in attack mode he's good like tonight. The pg fit seems an odd one
I think the one thing everyone in this thread can agree on is that when Jalen Green is playing well, he's damn fun to watch. Kid is a walking highlight, and I hope his confidence keeps growing.
I forsee KPJ being moved eventually to small forward and Green stays at SG. We need a real PG that can control the offense. KPJ looks much better when he can also run off curls and screens and only dribble 2-3 times max.
Green made some Kyriesque dribble moves tonight. I sincerely didn't know he had those moves in him. He's definitely improving his handles at a rapid pace.
I think for the most part we are rockets fans and root for the kids bc they play for the rockets. Reason we have to defend Jalen so much over other players is bc he gets crapped on the most unfairly either bc some people preferred Mobely or just bc some people predicted him to be a bust and want so very badly to be right To be fair most of us have only been critical of wood without much support and were critical of kpj when he left the game. Most talk of kpj has been around his ability to do just what he did today when he is allowed to just play vs think before acting while playing point
