Ahh snapz, Mobley looking like a beast.....

All good, just don't think Green has the confidence and comfortability this year yet, which is improving recently. I don't see Jalen being mentioned in ROY talks but he will have a beastly 2nd year in the nba.

Ralph Sampson just missed this club

    March 1984: (rookie)
    20.5 pts...7.6 rebs...2.1 Ast...2.6 blk...0.8 stl...(16 games)

I never did care for Sampson after his rookie season.
I felt like he rode Olajuwon coat tails due to injuries.

Olajuwon like Walter Payton had to work harder than others because
his help was very suspect. Or often injured.

P.S. my comp for Mobley was Ralph Sampson pre draft

I still can’t believe someone said Mobley’s ceiling is Tim freaking Duncan.

This could be an all-time great rookie class.

    Cade
    Mobley
    Green
    Barnes
    Giddey
    Kuminga
    Wagner

all could be all stars or better. Even Suggs shows flashes sometimes.

    This is interesting.

And this data suggest he shoots better when he’s able to handle the ball a little more.

I remembered Green was the youngest player in NBA history to get 20 5 5 and 0 turnovers in a game.

I'm sure if I go through your post history you commented about how great that was as you know you are. Rocket fan which logically means you would know and be more excited about that more than some trivial stat line for a player that isn't on this team.

Because you know, you are a Rocket fan first... Right?

They need to name this "kid" Scottie Beast Barnes. He's a monster out there.

Giddey isn’t a good shooter, so he gets left open a lot. I said he runs the entire offense and creates great shots for his teammates. His impact on the team’s offense is far greater than Jalen. I’m not sure what’s so hard to understand. That’s why anyone with half a brain has Giddey higher in the rookie rankings.

Suggs is ugh. I think Wagner has been their best pick by far

Even the fringe picks are doing well in this class.

when you say Jalen should get the ball more people think you mean running the whole damn offense. Just let this dude get loose. Let him pat the rock a little more. Jalen is a scorer not a shooter.

I told people. I said the talent gap from 3-23 pick is not that big.

The Bulls had only 1 pick, the 38th pick and got a stud.

Giddey, Cade and Green are the 3 most promising. They have best player on a championship level team potential. I was totally wrong on Giddey. That kid looks like a total stud and has been the best rookie this season. He'll probably end up getting surpassed by Green and Cade who look like superstars in the making but Giddey has superstar potential. Suggs could be but I'm on the fence about him still.

If Wagner, Mobley or Barnes are your best player you're probably not going anywhere. They look good right now but they just don't have the ceiling of the previous 4. Kuminga and Sengun are two others that could range from All Star to bench player.

Dude you just **** out narratives and than contort and goal post move. I explicitly replied to a comment of yours where you literally said Green has a high scoring efficiency because he stands in the corner and takes open 3s unlike Giddy and literally showed you that the exact opposite is the case. Just admit you were wrong.

Green scores more efficiently on tougher attempts than Giddy.

I'm sorry daywalker02, you are one of my favorite posters and
I know you are trying to teach me something; but I just don't know what it is?

Are you saying Scottie Barnes and Mobley would kill it during the days
of Olajuwon, Ewing, Shaq, MJ, Kobe?

Olajuwon would rip them a new A-hole

Back then they didn't have spot up shooters positioned
all along the 3-point line opening up lanes like today.
    There in fluffing up stats.

Evan Mobley would have been hurt going up against the
Mark Eaton's or Andrew Bynum's of the league.....just like Sampson did.

Scottie Barnes would have been probably been equal to Sam Perkins, stat wise.
