What's so hilarious is Clarkson is a fully developed 29 year old NBA player who has reached his max potential and ThIS season which is like his 9 th NBA season averages the SAME amount of pts on the same ts% as 19-20 year old rookie Green and you still see people make absurd claims like "his ceiling is Clarkson". It's absurd at this point.

I wonder if Bobby moves on from "his ceiling is Corey Brewer".

Also it helps when he's playing next to Jarret Allen who the defense focuses on a lot. People who praise Mobley fail to grasp the concept that there's a world where both Mobley and Green can be great players. It doesn't have to be one or the other. Mobley is a good player, but he has players on his team that makes his life much easier. Jalen has to deal with a big who refuses to set a REAL screen. This is why he plays so well with Sengun and KJ because they actually set a real screen for Jalen. It doesn't help that Jalen is not playing next to a true PG like Mobley (Rubio/Garland.) I still do not see KPJ as a PG. He is better as a score first SF who can be your secondary playmaker ... but that's a topic for next time.

The one full Mobley game I watched was the one against the Rockets and that guy when he gets the ball in the post, has all the room in the world to operate one on one. There is no teammate or help defender anywhere close so he has all the space to operate. You hardly ever see this with Green. Last game we saw it a bit and Green was able to make nice moves and score on the literal best defensive big in the league.

He looked good, but also every big in the ****ing NBA goes off against us because Wood is atrocious on defense. I swear a no name G League big would go off against us whenever Wood is on the court. I lost count of how many bigs get their personal records against Wood. Embiid's 2nd career triple double was against us in 30mins of playing time lol ...

Jalen got shafted lol. Rocket's player losing an award to an inefficient triple double machine ... where have I seen this before?

Meh, Giddey is def a quality player and rising star. No need to knock him cause Green didn't get it

I'm not knocking on him. He is an inefficient triple double machine. That's a fact. I think he will be a good player

The floor could very well be a better Clarkson, if he fails to be the Number 1 guy or the system failed him, injuries derails his career etc.

Obviously Clarkson was just glad he was in the NBA, different perspectives and never had the chance to be a lottery pick, never was lucky to have that many years in the league.

Clarkson overachieved, he is a 18 ppg scorer but expectations before the draft, his template says scrub with only 8-10 ppg potential.

Let’s hope he gets the March rookie of the month. He’s off to a great start

The gap in scoring efficiency is so massive between Giddey and Green and Green scores more. Giddey definitely has a sizable gap in assist numbers. He's definitely the better playmaker at this point but Giddey also gets a lot more reps as the primary ball handler.

I think Green is the only player in this class that can one day average an efficient 30 in his peak.

He's off to an amazing start with his first two games averaging 24 ppg on great efficiency. I think 20+ ppg is sustainable for March on above 55% ts. If he sustains that for the entire month he'll get rookie of the month. If he sustains that play for the rest of the year I think he can creep up to top 3 in ROY race. It's probably too late in the year for him to catch up to the top spot.

    1. He’s not putting up anything close to post allstar Edwards numbers.

    2. No one even believed in Green enough to take me up on the bet, even for $1.

These rookie numbers are much better than Green’s. Need to take into account age difference, but years of nba experience is more important, which they both started with 0.

I liked Clarkson when he was younger, just as I watched some of Lonzo, Ingram and Randle.

Y’all really don’t watch other teams do you. Giddey was putting up historic numbers, three straight triple doubles as a 19 year old, never been done before. Y’all really thought 17 empty calorie points while not contributing in any other facet of the game(except negatively on defense) was going to win over that? Delusional as always.

    1. U already said u made an absurd bet condition that u were going to pu$$y out regardless.

    2. Goal post moving from u. Idk who u were talking to but when did all star edwards number became the goal now?

U went from calling green basically a bust or a sht pick to seeing if he can match edwards number.

Just eat your own spunk quietly and watch green get better and better.

Jalen Green averages currently 3 more ppg on the same scoring efficiency as rookie Clarkson while being 2 years younger than rookie Clarkson. How is that better for Clarkson?

So it took a historical month to beat out Green's ROM-worthy month. Not mad at that. Giddey is a baller.
