Ray releases with the old school release at the top of his head (his set point)which is benecial for midranges more. Curry's set point is much lower by his forehead and is said to be more beneficial for deep 3's since you can generate more force. Also, Curry's shot gives an illusion that its a 1 motion shot but it's not, just a lower set point and quicker
