Roco is not a great iso defender - he’s a smart help defender. The plus/minus stats on him in his career is really more about his length to help on drivers and still recover on outside shooters but many teams counter by putting him on an island against their best offensive player. I didn’t see him on Green but I imagine if he did well against him, it’s likely because he had a body on Green.

Let’s just say it now - Green did to House what every Houston fan has wanted to do to him since the bubble - make him pay for being a dummy.

No he shouldn’t be the point guard, but…

Jalen barely touched the ball in the 1st quarter and brought the ball up much more than I can remember seeing during the 2nd quarter. That’s how you get in rhythm. You have to touch the ball. Even if it’s not a shot. Most other games he doesn’t touch the ball much in the flow of the offense. He gets his shots up, but there is a difference.

Remember when you said Green would be worse if he started taking more shots?

    LOL

Time to start warming of a cup of you know what...

    Jalen Green's numbers tonight:
    27 points,
    2 rb,
    4 ast,
    1blk,
    1stl,
    11/16 FG,
    4/9 3p.

It was predictable, Jalen Green can only score against bad defensive teams! No, wait, wait a minute... :D

I won't mention names, but after a few posters' favorite player Mobley blew up for 9 points tonight, Green is now officially ahead of him in PPG.

In short, Green has ascended, and Mobley has regressed.

Rubio (out then traded),Garland, Sexton and Rondo (traded for, now out) are all out now. Suddenly the game isn't as easy for him anymore.

I'd say that's what I've been saying all year. Great playmakers made his life easy, now he has to go through miserable times like every other rookie selected that high.

I think last night's garbage time helped Green tremendously this game in terms of seeing the ball go in the basket.

Silas only figured that out 60 games in lol

J-Len looks like a faster more athletic Kobe Bryant.

In the words of Ryan Hollins

"Great job by Stephen Silas, getting Green that time to build his confidence!"

Great game for Jalen tonight. He disappointed a lot of Clutchfans users though.

OMG, Evan Mobley with a +\- -24 tonight! Catastrophe! What a bust, right?
We are talking about rookies, they are going to have good and bad games, try to understand it once and for all, idiots!
