Just saying we can put an asterisk next to Anthony Edwards numbers, because the season usually is not shortened to 70 games with 36 games following the ASB. And I'll take your word for it that your aunt doesn't have balls
Funnily enough, fans of all the teams who picked in the top 4 can say the same. Jury is still out on Suggs but I am a firm believe that rookies need time to develop. Regardless, it is quickly proving to be a fantastic draft by Stone though as every 1st round pick projects to be at least a solid contributor, with 3 of the 4 being legitimate starting material already.
Haters celebrating not looking as bad as they thought they would! Big mouth braggarts and bullies humbled by our new star. Love to see it. Hope they learn their lesson before they go ego tripping through this draft cycle.
Debbie downer here. i hated the blatant padding at the end to try to hit 40. And all that glee to get it…while we were getting routed. Great season though. I think he has the highest upside from last years draft.
No matter who we pick, someone is going to go public and hate on the pick. Like Green, you have to block the noise out and keep believing in the outcome.
Got to end the season with something positive since a win isn't what we wanted in the 1st place. I think him capping it off with a career high is great considering all the slander and bs knee jerk takes that happen in the beginning of season to asb.
Basically the draft went exactly as it should 1-4. I still feel like Cade will be the best, Green could surpass him eventually, Mobley and Barnes are going to be all stars but not top 5 lead you to a chip guys like Cade and Green can be.
Enjoy the bright spots and let the team do it as well. Devin Booker had a career high 70 points in a very similar fashion in his sophomore season. The old vets on the team, PJ Tucker, Tyson Chandler, and Leandro Barbosa, were just as ecstatic for him as the young guys. Like us this season, Phoenix had no expectations and needed to tank. There is no point in being sour over wins and losses in that type of situation. That game certainly didn't hurt Booker's development or prevent the Suns from building a contender just a few seasons later.
I don't think they need it. Maybe if they hadnt gotten much time this year then send them out there. Garuba can probably use summer league to work on some things in live game action.
