On August 9th at a event biden commented on the fires and gave prayers to the victims and signed a disaster relief within 30 min of the governor requesting The "no comment" remark that Greg is talking about happened 4 days after biden already publicly gave his prayers and deployed the military. And the "no comment" was lip reading what biden said. He was never properly asked a question. The timeline is pretty clear that Biden did respond to Maui wildfires fairly promptly and that his administration took action on it. As noted Biden does ramble but most of his his criticism appears to be not picking or distorting the record. None of this is surprising though in this day and age of partisanship, the desire to get clicks and views on social media and the 24 hour news cycle.
With musk's new formula at twitter the only thing that matters is engagement. Doesn't matter how many lies or false tweets you spin or how much damage you do to society.
