That last point cannot be stated enough times. Even for a moment when it was reported that Russia attacked our democracy most people were pretty unified to punish Putin… until the right figured out that they were trying to help … the right then they suddenly because Putin super fans. There’s a tendency Americans have to unify against outsiders but we in terms of an internal takeover it’s insanely easy to take over the Democratic process if you want to given how corruption is sanctioned by the courts. I’m convinced that the right wing autocratic takeover attempt is the ultimate test of our Democracy, and I’ve become somewhat skeptical that the Democratic Party has the ability to counter what is coming because of the corruption of Epi Pen coal lover Joe Manchin and whatever the hell Kirsten Sinema is. With so much corruption in DC and such a slim margin, there is just no way the Democrats can hold Democracy. These two literally have the power to save the right to vote and won’t do it because of one thing.. money.

A Republic is a subset of a type of democracy dumbass. Fascism naturally rises from a cult if personality and ethnic nationalism - the past 100 years of history. And you aren't saving a Republic and preventing dictatorship by creating a fake narrative that a cult leader won an election. In fact if anything you types are what might actually cause the rise of an actual dictatorship.
Do you believe that Republic is based on Democracy? The 2020 election was not extreme in terms of Democracy. The only thing extreme was the reaction of the election's loser and his supporters. Which is more despotic? A rich person born with every advantage and immense wealth, who has made a business in part of defrauding people refusing to accept free and fair election results or another candidate that won the election fairly taking office?
